One Day Piano Upgrade
Many pianos go for years receiving little more than the occasional tuning.
Tone and touch gradually deteriorate as hammers wear and regulation degrades,
until eventually tuning alone does little to improve performance. This program
will demonstrate how to restore performance in the limited time, limited
budget situation. Using efficient methods and a selective approach, Bill
will show how to pack the most bang for the buck into a one day service call.
Unlike many programs which only describe the work, Bill will actually do
the entire job start to finish, explaining each step and fielding questions,
as attendees watch. Video coverage will make it possible for all to see the
process, from demonstration and diagnosis of the pianos existing problems,
to shaping hammers, regulating, and repairs, to voicing and demonstration
of the end result.
There is a huge need for this type of work, and it can be tremendously satisfying
and rewarding for the technician. And speaking of rewards, Bill will give
out many door prizes throughout the day. Bill has presented this program
all around the country, always to rave reviews. Dont miss this opportunity
to learn real-world skills you could be using everyday!
This all-day class will be given on Thursday, February 8th.
