Replacing the bridge cap (without removing plate)

This class of 1 ½ hr is for everyone. Tired of using glue or other stuff to repair bridges? Christian will show how to replace the bridge capping without removing the plate. Using a hand-crafted jig, home-built very easily, Christian will easily remove the top layer using a flat surface. Very professional work at low cost. Profitable for both customer and technician.

Replacing the European style pinblock (advanced class)

This class of 1 ½ hr is for advanced technicians. Christian will show how to replace the built-in pinblock in the European style piano. Takes a little longer than regular pinblock but is almost as simple. Christian will add a few tips to avoid damaging the cabinet. Very interesting class for the discriminating and demanding piano technician.

André Bolduc has been well known as a master craftsman of wood and a skilled rebuilder for the last 25 years. André is also a manufacturer of renowned high brand maple pinblocks and premium eastern spruce soundboards. He supplies other materials for rebuilders. André is an excellent instructor; you will learn many new and useful skills in his class.

Bio: Christian Bolduc

Christian Bolduc is a piano technician specialized in soundboards and pinblocks (belly man). Christian is a cabinet and furniture expert. He studied cabinet making at the Ecole du Meuble de Victoriaville and spent one year at the Schimmel factory in Braunschweig studying piano structure and design. Christian is also our factory manager at Pianos André Bolduc. Christian is a constant searcher for new ideas and methods to make your rebuilding projects easier.
